Overview
This unit covers recent developments in macroeconomics and includes a mix of theory and applications. It emphasises on the importance of rigorous microfoundations in constructing macro models. The main theories to be covered may include neoclassical growth model, e.g. Solow, overlapping generations models, representative agent models and endogenous growth models.
