Synopsis
This unit focuses on building your understanding of the importance of working in partnership with children, family and communities within and beyond the school community. The unit provides insight for establishing pedagogical approaches to support young children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You will develop the skills and knowledge to build relationships and create partnerships across networks. You will have the opportunity to consider the ethics and protocols of engaging with diverse families and communities, as well as establishing sustainable partnerships with diverse stakeholders. You will investigate partnerships and actively contribute to building professional and pedagogical practice for sustaining partnerships with children, family and community.
