Synopsis
This unit facilitates you to engage with Health and Physical Education (HPE) curriculum, assessment and pedagogy in early childhood and primary contexts, and enables you to apply this knowledge to your practice. The unit increases your knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching and learning strategies to deliver developmentally appropriate health and physical education. In addition, strategies for supporting the wellbeing and safety of learners in a variety of educational and community settings will be explored.
