Secondary professional experience 3D

This unit monitors secondary professional experience in the Bachelor of Education (Honours). You will complete the required number of days and activities specified in the professional experience expectations document. Your learning will be supported by relevant staff in the Faculty of Education, and by teacher mentors in the education setting in which you are placed.

International students who wish to meet current AITSL skill assessment requirements for secondary teachers need to complete EDF3083 Secondary professional experience 3D in place of EDF3082 Secondary professional experience 3A. EDF3083 provides the required 10 days of professional experience to meet course requirements, plus an additional 5 days of professional experience in a secondary setting, totalling 15 days of placement.  You are advised to independently check AITSL skill assessment requirements.
