Overview
This unit focuses on the types and incidence of mental health issues and their effects on the individual, family and community. It examines a variety of issues around trauma and grief, addictions to alcohol, drugs, and other mental health issues. You will examine how declining mental health can affect feelings, thoughts and actions. You are introduced to a number of therapeutic approaches.
