In this unit, the concepts of risk in engineering projects will be explored and a critical understanding of the principles and processes of systematic risk management will be developed. You will learn the state-of-the-practice and latest research advancements in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment. At the end of this unit, you will be able to identify, analyse, treat and control relevant risks to engineering projects.
