Synopsis

The aim of this unit is to familiarise you with programming by utilising two high-level programming languages, namely R and Python. You will be taught structured programming by means of practical sessions, which will cover fundamental data structures and algorithmic thinking. Furthermore, you will become acquainted with various basic R and Python libraries that are used for data analysis and visualisation. By the end of the unit, you will be able to apply the knowledge you have acquired to address business-related issues.
