Synopsis
In this unit you will learn about the broad contours of econometrics and business statistics research and its contemporary practice. A range of topics will be covered, such as reproducible and ethical research practices, the role of professional societies and peer review in research, the use of artificial intelligence, and the skills and techniques required to complete a large research objective such as a dissertation. You will reflect upon these issues and discuss how they relate to their individual research projects, and to those of your peers.
