Work Integrated Learning: Industry experience

Students engage in an industry placement of 144 hours with a self-sourced placement arranged by the student. Self-sourced placements require a defined application and approval process. Students on placement apply the knowledge, skills and practices developed in their academic studies and, with the guidance of mentors and colleagues, build further IT expertise and professional awareness. Throughout the placement, students reflect on their experiences to optimise their professional development. This unit is concluded with the student’s presentation
