Synopsis
The aim of this unit is to prepare you to conduct research and innovation in the IT industry. It provides broad coverage of the issues, concepts, methods, and techniques associated with the contemporary IT professional as you conduct research, and design and evaluate new products and services. It introduces you to major research and innovation paradigms, the principles of research and innovation design, responsible research and innovation, and research and innovation methods and techniques within IT industry. It also covers how to effectively communicate the results research and innovation through the established method of short-form video. Skills developed and knowledge acquired from this unit will prepare you to plan, conduct and communicate research and innovation within an IT organisation, as well as to be knowledgeable and critical interpreters of research and innovation more generally.
