Synopsis
This unit provides you with an understanding of the development and use of data, IT tools and techniques for modelling and decision support in business. The main focus, besides working with business data and the traditional analytic modelling of business decision making process using spreadsheets or self-service business intelligence (BI), will be IT tools and related techniques that can aid in the analysis and interpretation of real business problems confronting an enterprise with evidence-based solutions. You will apply design and systems thinking concepts, along with principles and techniques of BI and analytics, to a decision support challenge.
