Overview

Presentation and production for public art aims to develop your communication skills through digital publishing and 3D digital imaging. You will learn to use Adobe InDesign to support the layout of proposals documentation, and be introduced to the construction and manipulation of digital models using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software such as Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D).

Learning outcomes

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

    Apply digital publishing and 3D digital imaging techniques to prepare layouts for public art project proposal submissions;

  2. 2

    Generate and manipulate digital models using industry standard computer aided design (CAD) software to communicate project ideas and developments;

  3. 3

    Understand and apply the rules of occupational health and safety appropriate to the discipline practice.
