Synopsis

This unit is the advanced practice unit (Part D) within the Master of Food Science and Agribusiness, and representing a capstone of the overall Master’s program. You select one of the two advanced practice units (FSC5090 or FSC5091) based on your preference. This unit, in line with the other science units, provides the practical experience of how scientific knowledge is applied into researching food with outcomes that influence innovation and industrial practices.

This unit allows you to devote yourself to a substantial laboratory project as part of your final year of study in the Master of Food Science and Agribusiness.

The project may be carried out within a supportive Faculty in which your preferred supervisor is aligned. Allied with the practical focus of the project is tutorial materials and discussion on formal matters relating to OH&S, database searching, data analysis and presentation and report presentation.
