Overview

This unit is part of the advanced practice component (Part D) within the Master of Food Science and Agribusiness, and represents a capstone of the overall Master’s program. This unit, in line with the other science units, provides the practical experience of how scientific knowledge is applied into researching food with outcomes that influence innovation and industrial practices.

This unit allows you to devote yourself to a substantial laboratory project as part of your final year of study in the Master of Food Science and Agribusiness.

The project may be carried out within a supportive Faculty in which your preferred supervisor is aligned. Complementing the research project are tutorial materials and discussions covering formal  requirements related to occupational health and safety (OH&S), career-related workshops, database and literature searching, data analysis and presentation, and report presentation.
