A minor research thesis will enable you to consolidate the theoretical knowledge and analytical skills acquired during the Master course in a research context. The unit will allow you to develop independent and collaborative learning and research skills on a topic of your choice, related to the core and elective units offered in the course. The unit will primarily comprise independent research but also provide the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. The unit will include some scheduled activities to enhance and develop transferable skills for success in research. You will be assessed primarily on the thesis. You will be encouraged to link your research projects to industry and wider global issues, where innovative green chemistry approaches can lead to novel products and processes for the good of society.
