Synopsis
In this unit, you will apply your knowledge of reproductive health to recognise reproductive disorders such as sexually transmitted infections, reproductive cancers, erectile dysfunction and infertility and evaluate how these afflictions are treated, managed and prevented.
You will also consider the means through which humans regulate their reproduction through the use of contraceptives and family planning. Applying your learning, you will respond to public stigmas and misconceptions about reproductive health and analyse contemporary and emerging challenges to maintaining reproductive health on local and global scales.
