Research in reproductive science
GRS4200
Synopsis
In this unit you will be introduced to the common methods being used to study reproductive science and become familiar with the research process by undertaking your own research project.
Practical sessions will introduce you to the lab and key elements of experimental design. You will then complete tuition in biostatistics and the key components of research theory. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will follow the standardised method of scientific enquiry to identify gaps in our understanding of a subject area and propose an experimental design to test your hypotheses. You will then statistically analyse data and report your findings in a research report.
