Overview
In this unit, you will examine the principles, aims and general doctrines of the criminal law and criminal procedure. You will study the principles of criminal responsibility in the context of fatal and non-fatal offences against the person, major sexual offences, property offences, and relevant defences. You will also examine the main aspects of the processes, rules and principles governing the criminal investigation, prosecution and trial.
