Remedies

The Remedies unit will explore the remedial goals of equity, including analysis of some key statutes that they have influenced. It will also examine the legal rules and principles that both underpin these goals and make them a necessary part of the Law. The primary focus will be on trusts and fiduciary relationships, with additional coverage of contract and consumer law. Building on concepts from Trusts and Equity, the course will delve into current controversies, specific points of interest, and the laws of other common law jurisdictions.
