LEO5114

Synopsis

In an era of accelerating change, traditional, linear approaches often fall short in addressing today’s complex and interconnected challenges. This unit engages you in tackling “wicked problems”—issues marked by ambiguity, competing interests, and no clear solutions through the lens of Impact 2030, Monash University’s strategic plan which is focused on addressing the challenges of the age for betterment of our communities, both locally and globally. Working individually and collaboratively, you will apply design thinking methodologies to explore innovative, human-centred solutions. Emphasis is placed on iterative problem-solving, sustainable innovation, and the integration of practical business insights. Through this process, you will develop the critical and creative capabilities needed to navigate and influence an increasingly dynamic world.
