Business transformation

LEO5130

Synopsis

Under conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity organisations need to be increasingly adept at managing and implementing change. A key challenge for contemporary organisations and managers is the implementation of system-wide changes to fundamental processes, products, services, culture and/or ways of doing business. Digital transformation is a key example of these major change initiatives confronting many organisations. Different approaches to implementing and managing transformation, including planned change approaches (diagnostic), emergent change approaches (dialogic) and agile are introduced, explored and applied. Building on these foundational models and concepts, and a critical review of your collective experience of change and transformation, the unit provides a series of targeted lessons that extend your practical understanding of implementing change and transformation.
