Synopsis
The fundamental challenge in international business is ‘reducing the liability of foreignness’. The key managerial issues in International Business / International Business Study Tour include understanding the rules of business abroad, government and business relationships, modes of entry, international partnerships and competing in emerging markets. This is an experiential unit primarily involving an immersive experience in an international business context and market, with a study program at an international school overseas and direct engagement with professors, businesses and practitioners in the international market. This unit involves significant applied content including case studies and company visits.
