Overview

This unit introduces the theories and practices that underpin human resource management and analyses how organisations can create competitive advantage through their workforce. The unit examines foundational practices such as recruitment and selection, talent development and performance management along with future-focused activities such as HR analytics and socially responsible HRM needed to underpin sustainable organisational practice that is poised to respond to the challenges and opportunities of the fourth industrial revolution.

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:
