Overview

This unit aims to provide you with an early start on the process of career planning and development. The process involves thoughtful self-assessment, career exploration and follow-through with preliminary development strategies. The underlying philosophy of the unit is career and professional development, an ongoing, iterative and systematic process aimed toward a fulfilling work life. Topics include: the challenges of longevity, multi-career life, career success, women and career, retirement resources, personality-job fit, person-organisation fit, leadership and entrepreneurship orientations, and personal brand.
