Synopsis
European business and society is an intensive three-week unit taught at the Monash Prato Campus in Italy. The unit incorporates presentations/lectures and organisational visits in Italy, which will enable you to better understand the political, economic and social environment for business operating in a European context. The unit covers topics such as: macro factors related to the Italian and European Union (EU) contexts; contemporary issues and debates impacting European society; working across cultures; and micro challenges of effectively managing people in a European environment.
