Complex health issues affect women, babies and their families. In this unit, you will concentrate on key aspects of complex care as a central aspect of advanced midwifery practice.
You will investigate the management of complex health issues in a contemporary health system and their implications for advanced midwifery practice.
In this unit you will examine women with comorbidities and multiple medical risks, women with comorbidities and multiple maternal and fetal health risks and women with complex social and mental health issues.
