Synopsis
Developing advanced practice skills and providing leadership makes an important difference to the health and wellbeing of women and babies when there are issues with lactation and infant feeding.
In this unit you will examine advanced midwifery/nursing knowledge and skill in supporting women experiencing breastfeeding issues/problems, supporting women and families to achieve effective infant feeding and nutrition and examine breastfeeding from a cultural and community perspective.
