Synopsis
The Honours year aims to develop analytic abilities, research skills, and communication skills, as well as provide you with advanced knowledge in specific areas of:
- heart and muscle development and regeneration
- immunity and regeneration
- stem cells, cancer and regeneration
- neural regeneration.
In this unit, training is in the context of a scientific project, with an aim to train you in cutting edge scientific techniques as well as developing broad generic skills. You will undertake a supervised research project of a publishable standard that forms the basis of a thesis due at the end of the year. You will also present seminars on their research throughout the year.
