Synopsis
Research, Experimentation and Discovery (RED) is an immersive educational experience that invites students to bring diverse disciplinary expertise and perspectives to bear on the challenge of how research is implemented into practice. In RED, you will explore and investigate the cutting edge ‘live’ research happening throughout Monash: from responding to the impacts of climate change, preserving geopolitical security and fostering thriving communities.
In RED, we invite you to step into these real-world research narratives where you will be tasked to investigate how an interdisciplinary research project can make a difference in and for the world. Across an intensive experience based in a range of on and off campus collaboration spaces, you will be asked to respond to a project in collaboration with a Monash research partner and develop a strategy to translate this research into practice, creating change and impact in the world. In doing so, RED aspires to help you as an emerging professional - no matter your degree or background - to create impact, and lead global, generational change.
