Synopsis
In this unit you will undertake a comprehensive exploration of core Health and Safety risk management concepts, risk assessment techniques, and decision-making processes. You will gain a deep understanding of the principles, framework, and process of ISO 31000 risk management standards, including assurance activities. The unit emphasises the comparison and contrast of ISO 31000 risk assessment processes with existing governance and compliance approaches.
Additionally, you will learn to communicate the critical importance of engaging stakeholders in risk assessment and the implementation of effective controls. Upon successful completion of this unit, you will be proficient in demonstrating, explaining, comparing, and communicating key aspects of risk management, preparing them for advanced roles in Health and Safety risk management.
