Synopsis
This unit introduces physical hazards including noise, vibration, heat, cold, radiation and pressure effects and conditions such as work-related musculoskeletal disorders that are common in workplaces, the effects on human health, and prevention and control measures to improve work health and safety. You will examine and apply a range of approaches to identify and control physical hazards and risks and develop evidence-based recommendations for improving practice.
