Synopsis
Building on the awareness of the complex and diverse perspectives on environmental, societal and governance issues in MSI5120, this unit introduces principles of effective communication and collaboration for working with diverse stakeholders to address complex sustainability issues. These include strategies for interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral work, negotiation, and persuasion.
The unit also supports you in developing a critical awareness of your own position and perspective on sustainability, how this will influence your practice, and how this may evolve in your career. The unit draws on practitioner insights and examples to illustrate the many challenges and opportunities that come from engaging in this space.
