In this unit you will have the opportunity to develop and exhibit professional leadership behaviours essential for advanced wound care practice. Learning opportunities will enable you to integrate effective change management strategies that enhance quality and improve outcomes in wound management across various healthcare settings.
You will critically evaluate evidence-based literature to inform and advance professional practice, ensuring your wound management approaches are grounded in the most current and robust research.
This knowledge will prepare you to justify and implement comprehensive educational strategies, including planning, delivery and evaluation processes that strengthen quality and outcomes in wound care provision.
The unit will also develop your understanding of the consultative role of the advanced wound care practitioner, enabling you to rationalise and apply specialist expertise when caring for patients requiring complex wound management.
