Synopsis
This unit will provide you with a clinical risk management framework for managing and preventing wounds. This unit will explore the evidential basis for prevention strategies for wounds such as skin tears, leg ulcers, diabetes-related foot wounds and pressure injuries. You will not only explore patient related issues associated with prevention but also examine the local environment and organisational factors that influence prevention in both the hospital and community setting.
