Synopsis
This unit will introduce you to health and nursing in regional, rural and remote areas. You will examine the social determinants of health and how these may influence health outcomes for people living in regional, rural and remote areas. You will also explore interventions and approaches aimed at improving health equity, justice and access, and the role of the nurse in working in multidisciplinary teams in these areas.
