Synopsis
The unit will provide you with the foundational knowledge and skills for nursing practice with an emphasis on physical health assessment. You will study key concepts, including pharmacology, asepsis, hygiene and a patient-centred approach to nursing care. Clinical practice experience is an integral component of this unit and concentrates on the attainment of skills, knowledge and competency in fundamental patient care.
