This unit enables you to understand and apply contemporary approaches, tools and techniques to improving the quality and safety of health care and services. The historical and contemporary context, purpose of, and approaches to improvement and innovation in health care are explored.
Working within the framework of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (Version 2), you will utilise contemporary technologies and approaches used to identify clinical performance gaps, and develop person-centred outcomes for improvement and innovation.
