Overview
The unit forms a key element of Theme 4 - Research and Practice in Nutrition. It provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and skills in nutrition and human health in a clinical/healthcare setting. During the placement, students will be required to work independently and, in a team, to design and implement an effective evidence-based nutrition program to clients/patients. Through these activities, students will gain insights and practical experience as a nutritionist in real-life settings. An academic supervisor and an on-site supervisor will be appointed to monitor each student’s progress throughout the internship.
