Overview
Over the course of the year you will attend eight days of community placement. These will occur in a variety of settings from non-emergency patient transport to community health services. These work-integrated learning experiences will deepen your understanding of the health needs of the community.
Whilst on placement you will have the opportunity to demonstrate professional behaviours and communicate with community members and a wide variety of health professionals. These placement experiences will allow you the opportunity to implement the clinical and communication skills learned in PAR1011 and PAR1012. Placement shifts are scheduled from January to December, Monday – Sunday, across all shift times.
