Synopsis
In this unit, you will gain strong foundational knowledge and skills in how an evidence-based approach can support clinical decision-making in your paramedicine practice. You will be introduced to a variety of research methods which can influence and impact on clinical practice guidelines and decision-making.
In this unit, you will undertake critical analysis and explore how bias, limitations, and ethical principles can play a significant part in paramedic research and evidence-based professional practice. The knowledge and skills you learn in this unit will enable you to practice within a framework of making informed, evidence-based, reasonable, and professional decisions.
