Synopsis
You will gain knowledge of the pathogenesis and perioperative management of patients with endocrine, hepatic, neurological, psychiatric and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
You will explore the perioperative implications of cancer, infectious diseases, obesity and obstructive sleep apnoea and gain a greater understanding of the management of obstetric patients and the elderly.
The role of Advance Care Planning in the perioperative period will be highlighted.
