Develop strategies for undertaking research and design for projects and select appropriate research methods;

Undertake computer-based scheduling of the management of the design project and its implementation;

Understand issues of ethics and morality specifically related to the interior architectural profession;

Demonstrate familiarity with commercial and contract law, with specific emphasis on construction related issues;

Understand intellectual property laws, copyright, plagiarism, patents, and design registration;
- 7
Demonstrate an understanding of management skills and relevant government workplace legislation;
- 8
Observe and employ occupational health and safety principles and rules appropriate to studio practice.
