Overview

In this work integrated learning unit, you will employ psychological knowledge and skills into the community. You will be embedded within host partner organisations or settings, to demonstrate the broad range of opportunities that are available to psychology graduates, and diverse settings in which psychological knowledge may be applied. The professional and transferable skills that you will develop will improve work readiness.

You will complete a unique research project or work experience-based project jointly defined by the host partner organisation and the unit coordinator. Potential streams include industry, clinical and community, research and global settings.

The main component of the unit may involve you completing a placement. This will be in addition to time spent on reflection, self-directed learning and maintenance of assessments, spread across the unit.

Workload and teaching
