Synopsis
Fundamental to resources engineering projects is the management of financial, technical and safety risks. Understanding infrastructure and fixed plant equipment requirements are critical for project planning and maintenance. The successful execution of a resources engineering project involves understanding the life cycle of the project, the project finance and the identification and management of safety hazards. This unit provides an introduction to the management of resource engineering projects and an applied overview of fixed plant equipment and technology used by the resources industry.
