Impact through science 4A: Research

By working with industry and/or academic partners you will complete an independent research project. You will gain authentic industry experience and an applied understanding of the nature of the industry and stakeholder needs.

This unit will develop your theoretical understanding of your industry research challenge. You will immerse yourself in the literature surrounding your chosen field of research, develop a research strategy, demonstrate understanding of your chosen topic, and generate industry-relevant data. You will present the results in an individual written thesis.

The unit will prepare you for the development of the project plan and commencement of the group based Challenge project in SCI4502 (semester 2).
