Synopsis
In this unit, you will develop your knowledge and skills in research literacy, which will support clinical decision-making and evidence-based speech pathology practice.
You will learn how to combine the different aspects of evidence-based practice in managing communication and swallowing disorders. You will learn how to formulate structured clinical questions, how to identify literature from a range of databases and how to evaluate the quality of selected research papers. Then you will apply findings to support your future learning and practice in the profession of speech pathology.
