Synopsis
This unit will help you gain foundational knowledge and skills required to practice in the social work profession by providing practical experience in various practice areas.
It includes at least 500 hours of supervised field education, allowing you to observe, participate, and analyse the role of social work in a health or human services setting.
The ASSW requires you to undertake 2 placements in diverse fields of practice and context. The assessments are designed to assist you in the evolution of your practice as a lifelong learner and a reflective practitioner in a real life practice based setting.
