Overview

This unit covers a combination of the operations management and supply chain management concepts from the strategic, tactical and operational perspectives. These include operations & productivity, supply chain management (including vendor, warehouse and distribution channel management and procurement and outsourcing), project management, managing quality, process strategy, capacity and constraint management, layout strategies (floor space optimisation), inventory management, material requirement planning and enterprise resource planning, lean operations (including JIT and Kanban) and maintenance and reliability (including Total Productive Maintenance).
