UDI5502 Urban design studio 1B: Neighbourhood

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

   Demonstrate understanding of the basic spatial planning process and components of the spatial plan;

   Strategically respond to complex problems and develop appropriate urban design responses, processes and outcomes relevant to Indonesian cities and regencies by leveraging relevant contemporary technologies with increasing skill;

   Appreciate systems-thinking approaches to link localised neighbourhood design interventions aimed at enhancing climate resilience to larger urban and regional scales;

   Effectively communicate design ideas and proposals through visual presentations, models, and reports, using clear and persuasive design language;

   Work collaboratively in a studio setting, incorporating feedback to refine and iterate design experiments toward a final proposal.
