Synopsis
This unit will introduce you to essential concepts and creative approaches that you can apply to develop solutions for more sustainable and equitable cities. In Australia and globally, there is an urgent need to understand and develop new approaches to the social, environmental, and economic challenges besetting cities from sprawling development that contributes to a warming planet to planning equitable access to community services. This unit challenges you to critically engage with urban environments and analyse urban challenges while developing the skills to effectively communicate your ideas.
